Setup and Manage Your Practice Catalog with Catalog Concierge

Quickly and easily customize your practice catalog with our Catalog Concierge which gives you access to thousands (and growing!) products and services. Adding or editing Retail products, Services, pricing and tax rates can be done quickly and easily. Editing any Retail product or Service is also a breeze! A customized catalog empowers your practice with reporting and insights on the products and services trending with your clients. Get started by following the steps below.

Setting up Your Retail Products and Services

Step 1: Log in to OPUL.

Step 2: Click your Username in the top right corner, then select Practice Settings. This functionality is only accessible to Practice Administrators, so if Practice Settings isn't visible on your dropdown, consult your Practice Administrator.

Step 3: Click Catalog Management to access Catalog Concierge and click Get Started.

Step 4: You can choose either Retail to set up your Retail product SKUs or Services to set up your Service SKUs. After completing one, you'll have the opportunity to complete the other. For our example, we'll start with Retail products.

Tip: Having a copy of your catalog available for reference will help you breeze through this setup, so take a minute to grab it if you don’t already have it on hand.

Step 5: Select all the retail categories that you carry and click Next: Select Brands.

Step 6: Scan our catalog and select all the retail brands that you carry. Your selections will be visible on the right side of your screen under Brands Selected. Click the "X" next to a brand to deselect it. When you've completed this step, click Next: Select SKUs.

If you need to come back to your Catalog setup at another time, simply click Save and Exit. When you return to the Concierge, you can pick up where you left off.

Step 7: For each brand, select all the retail SKUs that you carry for that specific brand. Again, the SKUs you've selected will show up on the right side of your screen under Items Selected. When you've completed your selections for your first brand, move onto the next by clicking Next. You'll repeat this step until you've selected all of the SKUs that you carry for each brand you've selected.

 

Setting Your Pricing & Tax Rate

Step 8: Next, you’ll set up your retail product pricing and tax rates for the selected SKUs. Click Show Me How button on the pop-up to proceed onto Pro Tip 1.

Step 9: In Pro Tip 1, enter the My Retail Price value as a multiple of the Wholesale price. The Wholesale price is automatically populated from our Master Catalog. My Retail Price sets a retail product price as a multiple of the Wholesale Price globally for all of your retail products (e.g., set all Retail Product Prices as 2x the Wholesale Price). 

Step 10: In Pro Tip 2, enter in a Global Tax Rate to apply a tax rate across all your Retail SKUs.

 

OPUL does not assist with determining the appropriate Tax Rates for your practice. Please ensure you verify and use the appropriate Tax Rates for your practice based on all applicable requirements.

 

Congratulations, you've successfully completed setting up your Retail products! Please keep in mind, you can set a different pricing and tax rate for your Service SKUs. Simply proceed with setting up your Services SKUs by clicking Set up Services in the pop-up to proceed, referencing the steps above as a guide.
