Sometimes transactions don’t go as planned. To enable your device to provide void receipts, you will need to reinstall OPUL, which you can do by following the steps outlined here. When you’re finished, your OPUL device will print receipts for voided transactions automatically.
Step 1: First, make sure you’re in Merchant Mode. Then, tap the circle icon at the bottom of your screen to return home. Swipe down on the screen, starting with your finger in the top right corner. When the pull-down menu appears, swipe down and tap Settings.
Note: If you don’t see Settings, tap on the lock icon in the bottom right corner of your screen to lock your device. Type in passcode 6785 to log in and access Settings.
Step 2: Tap Apps & Notifications.
Step 3: Tap OPUL.
Step 4: Tap Uninstall. When asked to confirm, tap OK.
Step 5: Tap the circle icon at the bottom of your screen to return home. Then, swipe down on the screen, starting with your finger in the top right corner. When the pull-down menu appears, swipe down and tap Reboot.
Step 6: When the device has rebooted, the OPUL app will automatically reinstall after a few minutes. When the OPUL app has downloaded, tap OPUL to open it.
Please note: If you had to log in earlier using the passcode 6785, tap the lock icon in the bottom right corner of your screen to lock the device before opening the OPUL app. Then, use passcode 3623 to continue.
Congratulations! Your OPUL device will now automatically print void receipts whenever you void a transaction.
Please note: Void receipts will only print if your transaction is voided within 25 minutes. For void receipts to print, your OPUL device must be turned on and connected to the internet. At this time, OPUL cannot reprint void receipts, but this will be included in a future release.
