With OPUL's tipping feature, you can automatically offer your clients an opportunity to tip whenever they check out using a credit card. You can also adjust your settings to determine whether you'll require customer signatures.
Step 1: Log in to OPUL.
Step 2: Click your Username in the top right corner, then select Practice Settings.
Please note: This functionality is only available for practice administrators. If you don’t see Practice Settings in your dropdown menu, please consult your practice administrator.
Step 3: Click Manage Devices. Next, click Settings.
Step 4: Adjust the settings to determine whether signatures are required, whether tipping is enabled, and default tipping percentages.
- Signatures: Select either "Yes, require customer signatures" or "No, do not require customers to sign the touchscreen" to enable or disable signature requirements on the OPUL device.
- Tipping: Select either "Yes, allow customers to leave a tip" or "No, do not prompt for a tip" depending on whether you want to offer opportunities to tip with credit card transactions.
- If you select "Yes", edit the default tip amounts to match your preferred default rates.
- Please note: Tips are categorized under Insights according to the staff member who was logged into OPUL at the time they were made.
