OPUL offers a seamless checkout process for clients in OPUL. OPUL’s Patient Checkout feature saves you time at checkout by allowing you to pick items from the cart and pay using a saved card on file. You will also be able to quickly and easily see a history of all treatments and payments made under a client’s history for convenient reconciliation with other practice management tools you may be using.
How to Checkout using Patient Checkout
Step 1: Log in to OPUL.
Step 2: Select or Search for the Patient’s Name.
Step 3: Select Checkout in the top right.
Step 4: Select the desired product you wish to give the patient.
Step 5: Select the provider from the Fulfilled By dropdown that treated or sold the patient the product. Enter in the Quantity you desire the patient to have, any item Discount on the product, and the Discount Reason if needed.
Step 6: Select Add To Cart.
Step 7: Continue to add products as needed. Add any Custom Items or cart Discounts as needed. Once you have finished adding products, select Pay at the bottom right.
Step 8: Select the payment method that the patient would like to pay with. The patient may pay in multiple forms of payment, and this can be done by editing the amount to be paid before selecting Next. The patient can pay with credit card, cash, check, coupons, or practice credit. Once the remaining balance reaches $0, select Done.
If you would prefer to use Guest Checkout, please follow the steps below.
Note: Using Guest Checkout will limit your ability to use unique features and functionality within OPUL and it is recommended that you use Patient Checkout.
How to Checkout using Guest Checkout
Step 1: Log in to OPUL.
Step 2: Select Guest Checkout on the top right.
Step 3: Fill in the required Description field with the title of the product being purchased. Your description must be at least 5 characters long.
Step 4: Fill in the Total Price field with the price of the item being purchased.
Step 5: In the Tax field, select Y if you would like to manually add a tax percentage. Select N if you are not adding additional tax or if tax is included in the price.
Step 6: Select Pay on the lower right.
Step 7: Choose your preferred payment method and then select Done.
