OPUL has made earning and redeeming rewards simple with an integrated checkout experience. When checking clients out, OPUL will determine if a client has met the earning criteria of an active promotion and automatically add the reward specified in the promotion rules to the client's profile to be used in a future transaction. The reward will be available immediately and be accessible from the cart to use at the client's next transaction.
Note: If you have multiple active promotions and the client's transaction total meets the earning criteria for multiple promotions, they will only be eligible for the promotion with the highest earning criteria and only be rewarded once for that transaction.
How Clients Earn Rewards
Step 1: Log in to OPUL.
Step 2: Search for and/or select the patient's name.
Step 3: Select Checkout in the top right.
Step 4: Select the desired product you wish to give the client and complete checkout. If the client's transaction meets the earning criteria of a promotion, the reward set forth in the promotion rules will become available in the client's cart to be used at a future transaction.
The client will receive an email alerting them that they have earned a reward, including when it will expire. Additionally, clients will receive an email 21 days before a reward is scheduled to expire to remind them to schedule their next appointment.
How Clients Redeem Rewards
Step 1: Log in to OPUL.
Step 2: Search for and/or select the client's name.
Step 3: Select Checkout in the top right.
Step 4: Select Rewards to view available rewards. A description of the reward as well as the expiration date appear on each reward tile.
Step 5: Select the Reward you would like to apply to the client’s transaction and select Add to Cart.
Savings Rewards will appear as “$ Off Entire Purchase” and must be used when completing a purchase. If the purchase total is less than the Savings Reward amount, the client will not be able to access the unused reward amount.
Treatment Rewards will appear as “Complimentary” items and can be used without completing a purchase. Select the provider from the Fulfilled By dropdown that treated or sold the client the product.
If you no longer have the Treatment Reward available or you would prefer to offer the client a Savings Reward in place of a Treatment Reward, select the checkbox to replace the Treatment Reward with a Savings Reward. The amount of the Savings Reward will be equivalent to the Retail Cost of the treatment within your Catalog.
Step 6: Select Pay to continue with checkout.
